On 29th October 2018 Pastor Tunde Dada received the “Make An Impact” Award presented by the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof Yemi Osinbajo for the Shining Light Kids Outreach programme. The annual award ceremony was conceived and hosted by the Apostles in the Market Place Network (https://aimpnetwork.org/).
Launched in 2010, the SLKB Kids Outreach pays the school fees of children who could otherwise not afford to go. It also supports these children who come from rural and remote communities where they lack basic necessities by feeding them daily, paying boarding house fees and visiting with them every Saturday to tutor them and share the Word of God.
The programme is expanding and we need more volunteers. You can give your time on Saturdays from 3 – 6 p.m. and sponsor kid(s) by donating at Shining Light Kids Account, Zenith Bank, Account number: 101 432 8043.
